The Keychron K8 Max is a premium wireless mechanical keyboard featuring an 80% TKL (Tenkeyless) layout with 87 keys. It delivers exceptional performance across three connectivity modes: 2.4GHz wireless with a rapid 1000Hz polling rate for competitive gaming, Bluetooth 5.1 for seamless multitasking across up to three devices, and USB-C wired mode. The keyboard is powered by a robust ARM architecture MCU with 256KB Flash memory, enabling extensive customization through open-source QMK firmware and the Keychron Launcher web application.
Built for comfort and durability, the K8 Max features exclusive Keychron Super mechanical switches with a lifespan of up to 50 million clicks, double-shot PBT keycaps with OSA profile (OEM with spherical angle), and south-facing RGB backlighting with 22+ customizable effects. The keyboard incorporates multiple layers of acoustic foam (IXPE, PET, and EPDM) combined with a steel plate for superior sound quality and typing experience. Screw-in PCB stabilizers ensure smooth operation on larger keys, while three adjustable typing angles (3.4°, 7.7°, 10.7°) provide ergonomic support. The 4000mAh rechargeable battery delivers approximately 190 hours of wireless operation with backlighting off, or 100 hours with RGB at lowest brightness.
