The Unitek D1049A is a compact 4-in-1 USB-C hub designed for users needing dual video outputs, power delivery, and data transfer from a single USB-C port. It supports Thunderbolt 3 or USB-C with DisplayPort Alt Mode, making it ideal for laptops like MacBook Pro 2019 and Windows PCs.
Key features include HDMI at Ultra-HD 4K@60Hz and VGA at Full HD 1080p@60Hz. Multi-Stream Transport (MST) enables extended displays on Windows (up to 1080p per monitor); MacOS supports only single extended display. The USB-C PD port delivers up to 100W (actual output varies by adapter: 85W for 96W, 76W for 87W), while the USB-A port offers USB 2.0 speeds at 480Mbps.
