The Intel Core Ultra 5 245KF is a high-performance desktop processor from Intel’s Arrow Lake-S (Core Ultra 200S) series, designed for gaming, content creation, and AI-accelerated workloads. Featuring a hybrid architecture with 6 Performance cores (Lion Cove) at 4.2 GHz base / 5.2 GHz boost and 8 Efficient cores (Skymont) at 3.6 GHz base / 4.6 GHz boost, it delivers 14 cores and 14 threads total without Hyper-Threading. The 24 MB L3 Smart Cache and ~26 MB L2 cache ensure efficient data access, while the integrated Intel AI Boost NPU provides up to 13 TOPS for AI tasks, supporting frameworks like OpenVINO and DirectML.
Built on Intel 20A/TSMC N3B process, it supports DDR5-6400 dual-channel up to 192 GB, PCIe 5.0/4.0 (24 lanes), and LGA 1851 socket. With 125 W base TDP (159 W turbo) and max temp of 105°C, it’s unlocked for overclocking (KF model). No integrated graphics requires a discrete GPU. Launched Q4 2024, it’s optimized for power efficiency in desktops.
