Das Slotblech von Delock dient zum Einbau in einen Standard PCI Slot Ihres PC’s und ermöglicht die Nutzung von zwei internen Com-Ports um diese nach außen zu führen und somit 2 externe serielle Geräte anschließen zu können. Dieses Slotblech ist kompatibel zu MSI- und einigen VIA Mainboards, die über einen internen Comport-Pinheader mit 2 mm Pinabstand verfügen. Der normale Pinabstand von 2.54 mm ist hier nicht kompatibel.
