The Digitus Fast Ethernet media converter RJ-45 to SC duplex converts wire-based 100Base-TX network signals into 100Base-FX fiber optic signals. It offers a maximum range of up to 20 km. The wavelength for both sending and receiving is 1310 nm. As a standalone device with an external power supply, the Fast Ethernet media converter RJ-45 to SC duplex does not need to be installed in a rack. Automatic cable detection, auto-detection of full and half duplex as well as diagnostic LEDs for status and activity monitoring are also available. The Fast Ethernet media converter RJ-45 to SC duplex is suitable for 9/125 µm single-mode fiber optic cables.
