Power side cutters - 74 06 200 - VDE, cutting pliers

Thanks to its high cutting performance and indestructible robustness, the power side cutter 74 06 200 VDE is particularly valued by craftsmen. It is mainly used in the electrical trade, but also often in the automotive trade, in construction or in industry. Compared to conventional side cutters of the same size, it offers a significantly better ratio of power requirement to cutting performance. The geometry of the cutting edges, joint and handles is designed for efficiency. It is also the first choice for tough, continuous use, e.g. on assemblies, because its ergonomic design is particularly gentle on the user’s strength. The power side cutter is extremely stable due to its particularly robust construction with the forged joint axis. It is forged from vanadium electric steel, the precision cutting edges are oil-hardened in several stages and have a hardness of approx. 64 HRC. In addition, the power side cutters 74 06 200 are insulated up to 1,000 volts and VDE-tested thanks to the special handle covers.
