The MikroTik NetMetal 5 is equipped with a mini PCI Express slot, a SIM slot for a 3G/4G device or an additional WLAN card, a powerful 2×2 dual-chain 802.11ac WLAN chip and two RP-SMA sockets (male thread) for external antennas. The NetMetal 5 is an 802.11ac WLAN device in a waterproof metal housing (IP54). Its robust construction can withstand even the harshest conditions while being user-friendly and easy to open and close with one hand. The solid aluminum housing also serves as a reliable heat sink for the powerful radio module. The NetMetal 5 is equipped with a powerful 720 MHz CPU, 128 MB RAM, a Gigabit Ethernet port, 802.11ac Wi-Fi, an SFP cage, USB, RP-SMA sockets (male thread) for external antennas and a RouterOS L4 license.
