The LogiLink AD0005B is a cost-effective IDE to SATA converter designed to bridge older IDE/ATAPI (PATA) devices with modern SATA interfaces. It enables seamless connection of legacy hard drives, CD/DVD drives, and other IDE devices to SATA controllers on mainboards or add-in cards.
Featuring simple Plug and Play installation, this adapter requires no additional drivers and supports high-speed data transfer up to Serial ATA 1.0 standard (3.0Gbps) and UDMA/133 drives. It mounts easily behind the drive for a clean setup and is compatible with most SATA controllers.
